Interactive Media Displays

This Wall-Based Installation Reacts to Human Movement and Activity

Terrell Place, a business center and building located in the city of Washington, DC., has been outfitted with a spectacular new interactive media display designed by none other than Manhattan's reputed experiential design company ESI Design. This particular media display consists of 158 square meters of display space that react to activity taking place within the building.

These interactive media displays are powered by a trio of computers that are equipped with dual Nvidia Quadro M5000 graphics cards, with a Mac Pro computer used for sensor processing functionality. The visual patterns take the form of colorful threads that respond to movements of people around the city.

Ultimately, this interactive media display aims to create a sense of connection between the interior of the building and activity around the city.
