This charming example of interactive children's art at London's Ormond Street Hospital are sure to brighten up your day. The engaging interactive light installation was created by Jason Bruges Studio and is entitled 'Nature Trail.' The trail is a friendly and fun way to "brighten the [children's] way to the operating theatre." Bruges design studio wanted to turn the hospital walls into a natural canvas -- when children touch the wall, scenes of forest creatures come alive. The wall is a high-tech bespoke design comprising of integrated LED panels and graphic wallpaper.
The LED panels are placed at different heights along the wall -- making the images of horses, deers, hedgehogs and birds accessible to children of all ages. The artwork contains 70 LED panels and uses a grand total of 72,000 LED bulbs. This is a truly charming way to engage children with art in a meaningful way.
