DNA-Based Matchmaking Kits

The Matchmaking Kit by Instant Chemistry Provides Matches Based on DNA

Instant Chemistry of a new Toronto-based startup that uses a test kit to collect DNA samples to help matchmaking services provide better matches, based on science.

As Instant Chemistry notes, "40% of physical attraction can be determined through your genes alone." As well, partners who have more genetically compatible DNA have higher physical attraction, fertility rates and also have healthier children.

After receiving the kit and collecting DNA samples, the kit can be placed back into a pre-paid FedEx envelope. Currently, there are two Canadian matchmaking services that offer Instant Chemistry’s kits — Camelot Introductions and Misty River Introductions.

If you’re sick of wasting time with matchmaking services, online dating sites and filling out compatibility questionnaires, taking a quick swab of your cheek could lead you to your Mr. or Mrs. Right.
