The Tesla Model 3 Will Have an In-Car Wireless Charging Pad

Tesla is making an in-car wireless charging pad for its Model 3, the charging pad will be compatible with all major smartphones that are Qi-enabled. The charging pad fits in between the front two seats and comes with two USB cables and a snap for easy installation. Tesla has previously manufactured wired chargers for its Model 3 and sold a wireless charger for out of car use. This will be the company's first venture into in-car wireless charging.

The pad can charge up to two phones at once and features a non-slip silicon design. All users have to do is place their smartphone on the device. The in-car wireless charging pad has a price point of $125 USD.
