Hardwired Smart Outlets

ConnectSense is Launching a Smart In-Wall Outlet at CES 2018

ConnectSense has debuted smart outlets at the Consumer Electronics Show in previous years, but the newest in-wall outlet that it is launching at CES 2018 in Las Vegas is its most impressive yet. The connected Smart In-Wall Outlet builds upon the success of the original Smart Outlet, which takes the form of an external unit. After the WiFi-connected outlet has been installed, it may be used to control IoT devices plugged into it, such as smart home lights, fans and other systems.

Like the previously released Smart Outlet, the hardwired Smart In-Wall Outlet is compatible with the Apple HomeKit. As such, users are able to voice various commands to Siri via an iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or the Apple Home app to control group and individual devices. Throughout the year, ConnectSense has plans to add support for more smart home systems.

As well as being suited to the home environment, the Smart In-Wall Outlet is also optimized for commercial spaces like offices, airports, factories, universities and more.
