IK Multimedia Released the 'Roland RE-201 Tape Echo Emulation'

Modeled after the genre-creating 'Roland RE-201 Tape Echo Hardware' unit, IK Multimedia released a Space Delay emulation plug-in that reliably recreates its sought-after dub delay and reverb characteristics. The Space Delay plug-in features a familiar graphic user interface that captures the essence of the original unit, while also improving upon other parts of the user interface and features.

Known for its dub effects, the unit maintains the straightforward nature of its control layout and mode selection, while offering up high resolution support for 32-bit and 192Khz sampling. The plug-in offers many features unlike the original RE-201, including preset control, mix ducking, stereo control for panning effects, input filters, and tape age and noise for an added vintage grit.

IK Multimedia retails a digital download of the Space Delay plug-in for $99, which is available through its website.
