Designers Fred Chen and Wayne Chang of Emerge Lab created a portable three-in-one ice drip coffee maker for making convenient cold brew drinks.
Coffee can be brewed in this system either in the "cold brew" style, or in the "Dutch style" where ice cold water is dripped slowly over coffee grains. Brewing using this cold method has several advantages, including the creation of a less acidic cup of coffee that tends to feature more aromas and subtle flavors to enjoy.
Traditional ice-drip brewers stand at about three and a half feet tall, but the 'Dripo' packs the entire system into a compact and portable package that's 75% smaller. This smart design also doubles as a portable tumbler as well, which means you'll be able to drink straight from the brewer once your coffee is ready.
