Claw Crew's Hygiene for Hope Drive Collects Items for Those in Need

The Claw Crew, a group at John Maland High School in Devon, recently hosted the Hygiene for Hope product drive for the second year in a row earlier this month, urging local residents and students to donate hygiene products for those in need.

Last year's successful event filled an entire truck, benefiting Boyle Street Community Services in Edmonton. Collection boxes were available at various locations in Devon, including schools, the public library, and across local stores. The Claw Crew welcomes all hygiene products, with a focus on items like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, menstrual products, dental floss, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.

Their group also put together a virtual presentation, highlighting the impact of donations and the services provided by Boyle Street. This initiative recognizes rising costs of living across Canada and a growing need for more affordable access to basic personal care products.
