Advantage to Nurses and Healthcare

Professor Yasuo Kuniyoshi of Tokyo University developed a 70kg robot that can move in a more human-like behavior. The 1,800 sensors embedded within its skin are responsible for adjusting its arm movements. It can perform different maneuvers for various situations, just like in the demonstration. It picks up a 30kg package from a desk and lifting a 66kg humanoid doll out of bed. It can be useful in hospitals when moving the patients out of bed.
