Nevena Nikolcheva Blends Illustrations & Digital Enhancements

Nevena Nikolcheva is a Bulgarian designer and illustrator with an amazing portfolio. Nikolcheva cleverly combines the world of illustration with the digital realm. She is definitely pushing the limits with her creative visions. I really enjoy her pen-and-ink style.

Nikolcheva also adds depth and personality to her work by incorporating an array of subtle textures. Her character illustrations are by far my favorite; they're quirky and crude with a splash of quaint cuteness.

Nevena creates her work by using traditional pen and paper techniques, which she later embellishes with Photoshop. She uses many other programs as well, like Illustrator, Flash, Premier, and Fireworks. I look forward to viewing more work by this fantastic emerging digital artist.
