Trash Pageant Portraits

The Honey Boo Boo Portrait Demonstrates You Are What You Eat

Artist Jason Mecier has created a Honey Boo Boo portrait mosaic honoring the queen of pageants and reality shows. Shying away from the typical paint or pencil, the artist created the portrait using only trash.

The designer used an incredible 25 pounds of trash to recreate this collage, which succeeds at embodying her essence. Some of the items used were Mountain Dew cans, hairspray, tiaras and Red Bull, which epitomizes who she is to a tee as she is frequently seen using or wearing many of these items throughout her highly successful reality show. It took the artist over 50 hours of hard work to create the masterpiece that pays homage to Honey Boo Boo, the 7 year old self-proclaimed red neck.
