This Battery is the First to Store Excess Energy As Hydrogen

An Australian company called Lavo has well and truly made history by developing an innovative new hydrogen battery that is the first to be able to store waste energy as hydrogen, whilst also having the ability to deliver energy into homes using a fuel cell and providing convenient functionality through WiFi compatibility and a companion smartphone app.

The Lavo Green Energy Storage System is designed to be hooked up to a hybrid solar inverter and the main water connection. Once these connections are achieved, this innovative and historic hydrogen battery electrolyzes the water that it receives before stashing away the hydrogen.

With the ability to maintain around 40 kilowatt-hours of energy, the Lavo Green Energy Storage System is reasonably priced at $26,900, with its successful development and launch set to usher in a new era of home sustainability.
