Rad Rap Mogul Mugs

'Hip Hop Heads' by Dale Edwin Murray Represents the Legends

Whether you're a Tupac fan or a Notorious B.I.G. devotee (or both, like me), you're going to love the quirky, creative, and accurate 'Hip Hop Heads' illustrations by Dale Edwin Murray. The London-based freelance artist, whose work you might have seen on Threadless.com, created the series to pay tribute to the biggest rappers of the past and present.

Don't be offended if your favorite hip hop star is nowhere to be found in the collection (for example, my favorite, Lil Wayne) -- the series is an ongoing project, with more rap superstars' mugs to be added soon. Weezy aside, my favorite 'Hip Hop Heads' illustration in the current collection has to be the 'Tyler the Creator' drawing. Though I'm not a fan of his music, Dale Edwin Murray definitely nailed the fine details on this illustration, like the bright patterned shirt with matching baseball cap.

The charming 'Hip Hop Heads' series is a fantastic collection that can be admired by all, whether you're a lover of the craft, or an occasional rap listener.
