The Highclere Castle Gin will be Available Starting June 17

The Highclere Castle Gin has been created by the English estate as a premium spirit that will offer consumers a high-end option to enjoy in their favorite cocktail. Featuring a 43.5% ABV, the gin has notes of juniper, lavender and orange peel, and is packaged in signature purple bottles to convey the high-end nature of the spirit. The gin is likely to come as welcome news to fans of Downton Abbey, which popularized Highclere Castle after being the filming location for the entirety of the show.

The Countess of Carnarvon, owner of Highclere Castle along with the 8th Earl of Carnarvon, spoke on the new product saying, "For years Highclere Castle has been renowned for its entertaining and house parties with gin and cocktails featuring through years. We therefore felt with the ever rising interest in gin, the family’s heritage, and indeed the Carnarvon’s love of the spirit, it was a natural step to make a gin with Highclere provenance."
