Disney Hotels Launches the 'Hey, Disney' Voice Assistant

For visitors staying in suites at Walt Disney World Resorts, Disney and Amazon have collaborated to produce ‘Hey Disney,’ a voice assistant. More than 25 Disney characters' voices may be heard in this new feature, which gives users access to Alexa services using blueprints from Amazon’s Echo Show 5 smart display. Complete with adorable Mickey Mouse ears, guests can use the device to access exclusive Disney content like storytelling experiences, execute everyday tasks, and other activities.

‘Hey, Disney’ is only played when visitors enter their rooms and have completely opted-in for the service. It must be manually unmuted before it becomes active. Before being installed in every room at every resort property, the gadgets are being tested in a select number of rooms.
