The Helmut Lang Fall 2013 Line Displays Geometric Patterns

The Helmut Lang Fall 2013 collection showcased its current appreciation of angular patterns at the runways of this year's New York Fashion Week. The designer did so via its incorporation of artistic shapes, all of which were quite angular.

Leather leggings were spliced with gilded triangles, diamonds and rectangles. These pieces were also paired with 1980s-esque women's suits, themes that were delivered by way of charcoal stripes and swirls. And while this linear appeal remained consistent throughout, the Fall 2013 line remained diverse as the house of Helmut Lang incorporated reflective trench coats, silver menswear pants, striped skirts, see-through tops and velvet blazers. There is therefore much to choose from here, especially when given the incorporation of fur and sequins.
