Helder Rodrigues' Recycle Water Eliminates Bathroom Water Waste

Designer Helder Rodrigues is attempting to make the bathroom more water-friendly with his new design. The aptly named Recycle Water is designed to recapture and use water that would otherwise go down the drain.

The primary component of Recycle Water is its shower. The shower in Rodrigues' bathroom is designed to store the water that goes down its drain. This water is then filtered and used to operate the bathroom's toilet. Aside from recapturing water, Recycle Water also moves to prevent excess waste. The sink in the bathroom is motion-activated, as is the shower. These tweaks, while seemingly small, could make a huge difference in drought-parched areas, which often have to rely solely on homeowner compliance when it comes to saving water.
