Dynamic supermodel of the 90s Linda Evangelista stars in Harpers’ Bazaar’s October 2013 issue in an editorial photographed by Terry Richardson. Evangelista makes black look anything but basic in a series of form-fitting numbers, from a silky one-shouldered frock adorned with a bow to a luxe leather pleated dress to a peek-a-boo crochet gown.
The cover multiplies one of Evangelista’s images for a Warholian-Inspired pop art feel. Making the cover still more unique is the fact that every other image inverts the colors so it looks like a film negative. Overall, this photoshoot lets us know that Evangelista hasn’t aged since her 90s Hey-Day and she can more than pull off these sophisticated black couture looks, which look particularly striking against the stark white backdrop.
