WWF Campaign Proves That Nature's Future is In Your Hands

These ads for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) make the clear statement that the future of the Blue Whale and the Indian Barasingha lies in our hands. I must admit that the close-up shots of the hands caught my attention; however, seeing the shape of the blue whale took me quite a few minutes, and the shape of the Indian barasingha took me even longer.

This WWF ad campaign is very compelling in theory; the environment is in our hands, both literally and figuratively. I would have loved to have seen a more apparent association for the shape of the mammals, however.

The ads were created by advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather, India with creative direction by Piyush Pandey, Abhijit Avashi, Shekhar Jha, and Mahesh Gharat. The photos were taken by Ajay Salvi and copywriting was done by Shekhar Jha.
