Upcycled Skateboard Guitars

These Handcrafted Guitars are Made from Used Wooden Skateboard Decks

Industrial design student and self-taught woodworker Nick Pourfard has created a brilliant line of handcrafted guitars from old skateboard decks. Nick Pourfard of Prisma Guitars found a way to combine his love of skateboarding and music by giving life to guitars from old skateboards.

These unique guitars are designed and created within Nick's San Francisco, California workshop. In his workshop he produces one-of-a-kind guitars that are made entirely from wooden boards. What makes the guitars so creative is the aesthetic appeal. They are made by layering various skateboards atop one another, which reveals a beautiful rainbow-like color scheme.

In addition to the layered effect, each handcrafted guitar is painted and decorated with beautiful designs in abstract patterns. Nick also creates guitar accessories that utilize the entire skateboard to create an eco-friendly musical instrument.
