Mike Hollingshead Captured the Damage Caused by Hail in Nebraska

A massive hail storm recently struck the small town of Blair, Nebraska and storm chaser and photographer Mike Hollingshead was there to capture the storm's aftermath.

His photos are eye-opening as they showcase the devastating damages that the hail caused, such as smashed windows, fallen trees, damaged homes and an array of debris on the road. They truly shed light on the amount of power that Mother Nature holds -- especially when least expected. According to Hollingshead, he was chasing what he though was going to be a tornado, but the weather took a turn. The hailstones were reported to be the size of grapefruits!

The series is the first hail storm captured by the creative -- he tends to capture hurricanes and tornadoes.
