Spurned Sci-Fi Characters

The Guardians of the Galaxy Rejects Didn't Make the Blockbuster Hit

There was a clear winner at the box office this weekend, but that fact didn't bode well for these Guardians of the Galaxy Rejects. Although they look like they might have fit into the Marvel movie perfectly, clearly Starlord and his band of ragged miscreants were much more promising. As it turned out, following the comic book was exactly the right choice for the execs, producers and director involved.

Yet perhaps these Guardians of the Galaxy Rejects can still enjoy a bit of limelight thanks to artist Dennis Culver and Moviefone. A half naked Beldar the Conehead and American Dad’s Roger in drag is rather entertaining, after all. Perhaps a spin off starring these spurned sci-fi characters will be in the making in the near future, until then, the artwork can be enjoyed.
