Callum Morton Combines the Past and the Modern in his Grotto Pavilion

Callum Morton was commissioned to design and complete a Grotto Pavilion in the middle of this Baroque garden in the Netherlands. The design he came up with is anything but Baroque. A cave design is encased in a rectangular glass housing. During the day, the glass reflects and all you see form the outside is a black glass box.

At night, however, the inner cave in the Grotto Pavilion is illuminated. It kind of looks like a freaky blob is growing inside of the glass case at night.
