Dancing to Generate Electricity

London's First Eco Club

Britain’s first eco-friendly nightclub will open soon in King’s Cross, proving being good to the environment can be a lot of fun!

The party people will dance on a modified dance floor that, due to its structure, will produce the electricity needed to play the club’s music; the more you dance, the more electricity you generate. Not only that, but you can also have organic spirits served in polycarbon cups. The entry fee will be £10, but those who can prove they came by bike, by public transport of by foot, are admitted free of charge.

The club will open 10 July at Bar Surya in Pentonville Road, which is owned by property millionaire Andrew Charalambous. Mr Charalambous is also managing a new climate change organization called Club4Climate and with his new approach to clubbing, he hopes to involve young people into saving the planet.
