The Gourmet Mouse Traps photo series will probably bring to mind Remy, the main character from the beloved Disney animation, "Ratatouille." Only a rat of his caliber would be able to truly appreciate the dangerously decadent meals lying as bait on the classic traps. And he'd probably be the only one clever enough to get to them successfully without croaking in the process.
Shot by fine-art photographer Davide Luciano and arranged by food stylist Claudia Ficca, the Gourmet Mouse Traps series was inspired by a week-long cheese advertising shoot in New York. Proclaiming himself to be in a 'cheesy state of mind,' he teamed up with Ficca to create such dishes as creamy cheesecake, grilled cheese, layered lasagna, bagel & lox and nachos.
Gourmet Mouse Traps looks so delicious, humans would probably risk a nasty pinch to get to them.
