The Got Chess? Set is Inspired by a Stylish Leather Notebook

If you like to play chess, the Got Chess? set by quirky designer Peter Baeten is stylish and portable version of the traditional game.

Baeten says he developed Got Chess? after being inspired by the sleek design of a leather notebook. From there, Baeten decided to make the Got Chess? board and pieces flat, so that they could be stacked together and take up no more room than a leather notebook. The two-dimensional chess pieces come in a wooden slab, so that each piece can be punched out and put back in. The chess board is made with squares with coin-sized slits in them. Players can stick their two-dimensional chess pieces upright in them as the pieces move around the board.
