This bottle of Glenfiddich 50 Year Old is considered one of the rarest single-male whiskies to ever be released; this bottle was available for a single tasting event in September in San Antonio.
This bottle is one of 50 bottles to ever be released. The tasting event took place at Feast restaurant alongside a five-course meal. The event held only 20 guests who paid $1,500 each.
The scotch whisky itself is said to have a series of complex tastes including zesty orange marmalade, vanilla toffee, and layers of fruit, hints of smoke and oak. The actual bottle is crafted inside a showcase box embossed with '50' on the top of the bottle as well. You can view more images of the event online.
