Venusverse unveiled the Women of Venusverse 'Genesis Collection' of 2,022 NFTs. This NFT collection was created in collaboration with 'THEMUSEUM,' and is meant to simultaneously give women insight into web3 while raising funds for organizations dedicated to helping women. As such, 10% of the proceeds gained from these NFTs will be donated to the 'DiverseCity Fellows' and the 'Emerging Leaders Network.'
VenusVerse CEO Janelle Chalouhi stated that the art pieces in the collection are meant to "represent women from across the world, bringing us all together under one collection.' Additionally, even the number of NFTs in the collection has significance for women. In addition to 2022 being the founding year of Venusverse, the sum of 2+2+2 is six, which is the number that represents unconditional love and selflessness.
One notable element of the Genesis Collection is its validation status. The NFTs have been validated by UREEQA, a blockchain-based validation platform meant to increase the authenticity of NFTs by validating both artworks and creators.
