Activity-Tracking Smartwatches

The Garmin Vivoactive Allows Users to Customize Their Exercise Type

The Garmin Vivoactive is the latest contender to enter the ring when it comes to smartwatch technology. The Vivoactive is the latest model in Garmin's collection of fitness trackers, all priced affordably, which include the Vivosmart band and Vivofit.

It is equipped with the standard fanfare, like a heart-rate monitor (which comes with an accompanying chest band for a more accurate reading), GPS and a touchscreen display (which is readable even in direct sunlight). The Vivoactive also offers interchangeable watch bands, which users can switch according to what activity they're performing.

Users are also able to switch the watch mode to better track their activity depending on what they're doing; for instance, they can switch it to "golf mode" when they're playing the sport.
