The Gap x Visionaire Collection Involves UV Sensitive Ink

The Gap x Visionaire collection is made up of t-shirts that change color almost like a mood ring. They were inspired by the art and fashion publication's special edition issue titled ‘Solar,’ which was released back in 2009. According to Psfk, "It featured black and white photographs by famous artists, printed in a special UV sensitive ink that changed into color when hit by direct sunlight."

Bringing this same UV sensitive ink to clothing, the Gap x Visionaire collection features a new crop of color-changing artworks from such artists as Alex Katz, Yoko Ono, Richard Philips, Peter Lindberg, and Roe Ethridge. The simple and modern designs are magnified and enhanced when exposed to sunlight. They will be available in New York, Tokyo and London.
