This smartphone game for saving lives aims to decrease infant mortality in African communities where access to health care is difficult to come by. Led by Professor Mike English, the Life-Saving Instruction For Emergencies (LIFE) team is based out of the University of Oxford and in Kenya.
The crowdfunded project (which is still accepting donations) wants to put inexpensive smartphones in the hands of health care professionals in Kenya, giving them the knowledge they need to provide potentially life-saving medical treatment to mothers and newborn babies.
The LIFE game shows how health can be transformed with mobile technology. The 3D and virtual reality game for saving lives can be used with or without VR headsets as well.
