Drag Queen Fashion Shows

John Galliano Men's SS 2009 Show

John Galliano is well known for his eccentric designs, but on his men's spring-summer 2009 ready-to-wear collection show in Saint-Denis during Paris Fashion Week, Galliano really upped the ante. The runway featured an explosion of colors so loud and an attitude so flamboyant, it could have easily been mistaken for a drag show.

The models strutted the catwalk with heavy make-up, platform heels, and a kilt or two. Only Galliano could use empty soda cans on the heads of his models and 'make it work'. Each model had an intricate, unique headpiece.

With the collection being "ready-to-wear," I wonder who would wear it, unless it's Halloween. I could try the yellow pants with the cute elephant though.

Check out Galliano's fabulous designs for the Dior Couture Fall 08/09 show. Where does the man come up with all this creativity?
