Hebru Brantley Releases Eight 'Gaia' Scultpures with Avant Art

Hebru Brantley, a contemporary American artist known for his "Afro-Furutstic" approach to anime and graffiti, is set to release eight new 'Gaia' sculptures with Avant Art, which will be available in either black or white.

The name of the piece -- Gaia -- means the personification of Mother Earth and good fortune. Brantley takes this idea and applies his signature anime-aesthetic to create a unique sculpture that depicts a young girl wearing goggles while kneeling atop a cloud-like formation. All of the pieces were sculpted from Portoro marble and stand 24-inches tall. While all eight pieces are near-identical, the veining of the Porotro marble used to create them ensures each is subtly unique.

Gaia will be available to purchase on the art e-commerce platform Avant Art on November 29 at 2pm GMT.
