Sustainable Soda Campaigns

The Fukien Tea Plant Billboard was Created by Coca-Cola and WWF

Although the Fukien Tea Plant Billboard might not be the first lush, green campaign to be launched, it is the first for the Philippines. Made up of, you guessed it, Fukien Tea plants, it introduces a conscious effort to be more eco-friendly in this country.

Created as a collaboration between Coca-Cola Philippines and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the Fukien Tea Plant Billboard helps alleviate air pollution within its proximate areas. This is made possible considering how each Fukien Tea plant is capable of absorbing up to 13 pounds of carbon dioxide in a year. A total of 3,600 pots were used in the billboard, all made out of recycled plastic bottles. So imagine just how much carbon dioxide the Fukien Tea Plant Billboard can absorb. I can't wait to see more green billboards pop up around the world.
