Baker and chef extraordinaire Yolanda Gampp recently transformed a frosted cake and set of sugar cookies into an incredibly realistic cheeseburger and fries meal that looks so life-like viewers might have to take a double look to realize the meal is actually made from sweet ingredients.
The cake is realistic looking thanks to the use of cocoa puffs to create the burger patty rather than cake dough. The cluster effect of the cereal resembles the ground beef that is then topped with chocolate and marshmallow to create large round. The burger is then topped with all the fixings including fondant cheese, candied relish and lettuce and tomatoes made from gum paste. The burger cake is then served with sugar cookie fries and red buttercream ketchup to create a full blown sweet meal.
