Designer Charitable Dolls (UPDATE)

Frimousses de Createurs Dolls Help Children in Darfour

Every year, high fashion designers create these tiny dolls known as Frimousses de Createurs and exhibit them at a free exhibition at the Petit Palais in Paris. The dolls are designed from all the major fashion brands such as Dior, Chanel, Sonia Reiykel, Dolce and Gabanna and multiple others. The dolls are extremely expensive but that's okay because the proceeds are going to UNICEF to help children in Darfour.

The 2011 theme of the Frimousses de Createurs, meaning little face in French, is ecological and dreamlike, according to the official website. Each doll is meant to represent the quality, prestige and individuality of the fashion house it represents. The sale of the dolls start December 13 and you may contact cdelvaux@drouot.fr to do your part in the world while obtaining these couture dolls.
