Philanthropic Couture Dolls (UPDATE)

Frimousses de Createurs 2013 Features a D&G Doll

Luxury Italian design house Dolce and Gabbana has created a custom made, limited edition doll for UNICEF. The doll will be held for auction at the Four Seasons George V hotel in Paris on December 2nd and all the proceeds will go to the helping the children in Darfur. The doll is the latest edition contribution to the ‘Frimousses de Createurs’ exhibit. Dolce and Gabanna have designed for this exhibit before, along with other high-profile designers such as Sonia Reiykel, Christian Dior and Chanel.

This year, the Dolce doll wears an embroidered red lace dress that’s adorned with some gemstones for added flair inspired by their 2013-2014 collections. The exotic-looking doll also dons a colorful, crystal-studded head dress and dangling earrings. If you have a little extra dough in your pocket this Holiday season, why not look into donating to a worthy cause – and obtaining a sure-to-be designer collector's item.
