Diverse Talent Platforms

Free the Work is a Curated Talent-Discovery Platform for Diverse Creators

Free the Work was launched by Alma Har'el, the founder of Free the Bid, and asks the world what art we would have if underrepresented individual's creative work was showcased. The initiative includes a platform that gives users access to the curated talent of underrepresented creators.

To showcase the initiative, created team Wieden+Kennedy launched a thought-provoking commercial that begins by telling viewers of Mozart's equally talented sister who never got the chance to shine. The commercial then asks "Who else have we missed out on? Why do we still ignore talent 200 years later?"

Free the Work has already gained notable attention from industry leaders including Amazon Studios, Proctor & Gamble, AT&T, Ford and Facebook who have supported showcasing creative work from diverse artists.
