Linkedin Launches the Focused Inbox Feature to Sift Through Messages

LinkedIn introduces its new Focused Inbox feature that is officially rolling out today. It essentially separates the inbox into two different tabs -- one of which is named 'Focused' and the second is 'Other.' The filtering feature is based on a machine learning algorithm that is programmed to understand which messages to flag that include the most relevant outreach to users specifically.

It then pushes them up to the top of the Focused tab section and if it is not useful to users, they have the option to switch back to the older interface. This update aims to become more productive and is launching as the company noticed that users are turning more towards the instant messaging feature as a form of communication.
