Flynn Talbot is an artist that likes to experiment with lighting forms, which is exactly what was done for the PSAS in Perth with his 'Primary' installation. The artwork uses LED light sources, which are all different colors.
The title Primary is in reference to the primary colors used in the installation, which are green, blue and red. The work is also accompanied by a soundtrack, so that visitors are able to immerse themselves in the full sensory experience. Depending on where you're standing, the artwork looks slightly different. From the front it looks like a 2D structure, but as one moves closer and stands at the side it's clear that the lights are quite jagged and put together as a 3D design.
