Edible Christmas Candles

The Wax from Smith & Sinclair's Flaming Hot Choc Candle is Totally Edible

In an effort to ignite our scenes this holiday season, the UK-based company Smith & Sinclair has created a Flaming Hot Choc candle that is completely edible. This means that now you can actually enjoy a candle that tastes as good as it smells.

the Flaming Hot Choc candle is a revolutionary candle made from a combination of coconut oil and raw cocoa butter. The candle comes in either a peppermint flavor, or a spiced orange flavor that boasts "sweet notes of mandarin, cloves and cinnamon." After you burn the candle (just as you would with any non-edible candle), you can then pour out some of the wax into drinks like hot chocolate for a hint of peppermint or spiced chocolate orange flavor. As Smith & Sinclair's Head of Innovation Emile Sinclair explains, "Christmas epitomizes cozy nights in with glowing candles, a roaring fire and a hot chocolate, so why not combine these two festive stalwarts and use our Edible Candle to pimp your hot chocolate!"
