Music Remixes from Fish Movements

Submersed Songs

We enjoy whale sounds and dolphin noises, but how about fish tunes?

Submerged Songs is a sound installation by Vivian Caccuri, which generates mp3 player remixes that are generated via the movements of four live fish in a tank.

The movements of the fish are tracked by an overhead camera that sends information to a computer and an iPod. The system then remixes the songs you pick into one another.
