Fire-Breathing Robots

Junkyard Dog with Indigestion Roams the Streets of London

Lrry, the fire-breathing robot-dog-beast-cycle is the creation of Lyle at the Mutoid Waste Company. The robo-dog is made entirely out of recycled materials.

The goal was to build something that walked within four weeks. The result was Lrry. Coffee filter eyes, sprockets, gears and frames from old motorcycles, and a couple of Citroen 2cv engines all went into making Lrry come to life.

The Mutoid Waste Company is a well-known scrap-pile art and party collective that has been influenced by films like 'Mad Max' and 'Tank Girl.' Their signature is a post-apocalyptic, Rock and Roll style.
