The FBI have released their first application for iPhones and it's called FBI Child ID app. It is used to help parents find missing children if their child should ever get lost or go missing.
The app allows parents to keep information handy and readily available to give to the police. You can store photos and specific details of your child. Parents can also use the FBI Child ID app to dial 911 or ational Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Some parents may feel uncomfortable storing and give such personal details, especially since it's about their children, but the FBI promises no information will be shared without permission, and well, it IS the FBI.
The FBI Child ID app is only available for the iPhone, but the FBI hopes to expand it for other cell phones as well.
