Faux Wood Sinks

Bandini's Ebano Collection

These gorgeous contemporary washbasins are a treat, and in fact, a trick for the eye. The Ebano collection by designer Marco Pisati, for the Italian Il Bagno Bandini, is in fact sculpted from stone and not wood, as I found cited elsewhere on the web. The stone is called Rainwood stone and as the Bandini site reveals Ebano is, “a washbasin with linear and squared external forms; internally the soft curvature of the hole is designed to enhance the wonderful vein of the stone that recalls for colour and form the essence of wood.”

The Ebano collection consists of fabulously modern sinks, shower bases and if you can imagine a solid Rainwood stone tub.
