Retired US Navy combat photographer Aaron Ansarov captures the images of these fascinating creatures washed up on a beach in Florida.
The photographs reveal the true nature of these beautiful yet fearsome deep-sea stinging creatures at close range with a perspective that isn't quite attainable via the naked human eye alone.
The Fatal Attraction series was recently highlighted by National Geographic. Ansarov's work is also currently being highlighted at the Mark K. Wheeler Gallery at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
