For those about to uke... read on. Ever since the ukulele appeared as an alternative to the guitar in Hawaii in the 18th Century, musicians have been mesmerised by this beautiful instrument. With it's tinny sound and high pitched tones, you can't help but smile when a uke is a playin'.
