H.I.T. Students Deliver Impressive Work

These famous logos in Hebrew rendered by H.I.T. students are beautiful to look at, but slightly confusing to read.

The designers of these logos are all students taking the visual communications course by Oded Ezer at the Holon Institute of Technology. Ezer, typographic artist and logo and type designer, asked his students to design Hebrew versions of logos that already exist in other languages. According to Ezer, his students did a very good job on designing these Hebrew logos, since matching two languages without forcing the Hebrew to look like English, Arabic, Latin of Japanese is not as easy as it sounds.

The result is both pretty and revealing, as many individuals are not used to the Hebrew language. Photo Credits: designboom
