The S-Train in Tokyo, Japan is being used as part of a test program that will create a more family friendly train to increase comfort for all passengers. The program will introduce a family-only car during evening service to help offer families a spot to relax as they go about their commute. This works to offer a more comfortable spot for families to sit, while also keeping other areas free of crying babies and carriages to increase over all efficiency and comfort.

The new family friendly train service on the S-Train that connects Tokyo with the Saitama Prefecture will be trialled for two days in march and see two of the 10 cars on the trains transitioned for families.
