For Fall 2009, Collette Dinnigan Makes ‘Prim and Proper' Edgy

The Collette Dinnigan Fall 2009 Ready-to-Wear show was conservative, but chic, and it has heavy on blacks, perhaps as a reflection of our current economy.

Collette Dinnigan’s Paris Fashion Week show included tailored pieces that were incredibly flattering to the female physique. Of course, being rich in black, it was a very slimming collection as well, giving it appeal to women looking for easy ways to cheat their way slender.

As conservative as the beginning of the collection appeared to be, later in the show, Collete Dinnigan introduced a more edgy look, opting for see-through black lace blouses similar to the ones Louis Vuitton had in his Fall 2009 collection.
